Inge Kampenes

Geopolitics has taken an increasingly prominent role in cybersecurity, as nations make growing use of digital tools and strategic means in global power struggles and conflicts.

As former Major General and Head of the Cyber Defence Force (2017–2022), Kampenes played a key role in strengthening Norway’s cybersecurity within the Armed Forces. Drawing on his extensive experience in digital strategy and cybersecurity, he developed strategies to protect national networks and critical infrastructure against cyber threats. Today he is a special advisor at Advansia, where he continues his work to strengthen Norway’s resilience against digital threats.
