About us
Europe's largest student-run conference for the business community.
The Perfect Meeting Place
The NHH Symposium is Europe's largest student-run business conference, organised annually at the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen. What began in 1983 as a single-day student forum has grown into a two-day event that brings together business leaders, politicians, academics, and students from across Norway and beyond.
Over 400 participants, 30 speakers, and 150 companies represented. Each edition is built from scratch by a student board that volunteers a full academic year to make it happen.
Over the years, the Symposium has drawn some of the world's and Norway's most prominent figures to Bergen, from Henry Kissinger and Edward Heath to Michael Porter and Henry Mintzberg, as well as Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland, King Harald V and Crown Prince Haakon. Together, several hundred participants from business, politics, culture, academia and students make up "The Perfect Meeting Place".
