Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer

Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer is Group CEO of Telenor, a position she took up in December 2024. She joined from the role of Group CEO at SpareBank 1 SR-Bank, and has previously held roles including Group Executive Vice President at Fremtind Insurance and Head of Corporate Banking at DNB.

She brings more than thirty years of experience from the financial sector, including at Citibank and in private equity and corporate finance, and has served on the boards of Oslo Stock Exchange, Norges Bank’s Supervisory Council, and Vipps.

At Telenor, she is focused on strengthening the company’s position through digital innovation, technological development and customer-centred solutions, with an emphasis on profitable growth and better customer experiences in a fast-changing industry.
